Introduction
You might wish to learn more about Sacramento Montessori School by clicking here to reveiw our Parent Handbook. This Handbook is made available to each parent and family that tours the School and is interested in completing an Application package.
At the end of the Handbook, you will see all of the forms, including those required by the State of California, which licenses our facilities, that parents or the child's authorized representative need to complete prior to enrollment. You may wish to take the opportunity now to review those forms.
Our Facility License Numbers are 343610792 and 343610874. We are licensed by the Community Care Licensing Division, River City District Office, of the California Department of Social Services (telephone 916.229-4530).
Sacramento Montessori School is always in the process of "becoming", i.e., we are working to achieve excellence in our work with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. For example, we have just launched a "Handwork Program" in our Children's House, serving children from twos old to the first grade. This Handwork Program is taught by a Specialty Teacher who visits each of the Early Childhood Classrooms on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
From time to time, changes will be made in the Parent Handbook and we will incorporate those changes here.
